What it is for

Composition and care labels, size tabs and sewn-in branded loops – printed onto satin or polyester ribbon and cut to length. The foil is formulated to stay legible through repeated domestic washing, which ordinary transfer foil is not.

At 110 mm every roll covers any ribbon width the printer takes, so there is nothing to work out beyond the colour. If most of your labels are on 15–25 mm ribbon, the 30 mm rolls in the 1" core wash care range cost a good deal less per label.

Which printers take these

The Plus printer takes 1/2" core as standard, and an Express will run them with the 1/2" Express core adaptor. The Jet 300 and Jet 600 are 1" core only.
