Pro Printer

The Pro is the production machine: 300 dpi at 14 inches per second, three and a half times the speed of the Express and the Jets, running 300 m foil rolls with a foil-save module that only draws foil where the design actually prints. It is built for businesses printing ribbon all day rather than in batches.

When the Pro is the right machine

Speed is the whole argument. If ribbon printing is a step in a production run rather than an occasional job – if you are printing for most of the working day, or the printer is holding up everything behind it – the Pro removes that constraint. The foil-save module and the longer rolls compound the effect: fewer stops, less foil used per print.

When it is not

The Pro prints at 300 dpi. If your work is fine detail on narrow ribbon – small script, detailed logos on 25 mm and under – or Medal Print centres, the Jet 600 is the sharper machine at 600 dpi. If you print full-length sashes, the Jet 300 prints 2.5 m in a single pass, which no other ribbon printer on the market does. Both cost less than the Pro. The Pro is the right answer to volume, not to detail or to length.

Foils and consumables

The Pro takes 1" core foil on 300 m rolls, in 30, 40, 55 and 105 mm. It prints on the same Elan and polyester ribbon as the rest of the range.
